In the late 20^th Century, a team of Egyptian archeologists unearthed 3 stone tablets from a Husame tomb in the Answara Desert. The writings were from The Book of Loons, a holy manuscript that the Egyptians often referred to in their religious scriptures. It states : “The path to Heaven runs through the Swamp of the Smoking Loon.”

Don Sebastiani, Founder of Smoking Loon Vineyards :

“For each vintage of Smoking Loon, we look for fruit that shows the true character of a specific varietal. We look for differences not “sameness” in each lot of wine that we blend. It goes without saying that a wine should be enjoyable but if it makes you pause .. then we have succeeded in our efforts”!

As a special event, the Linkers will be here, with at least 2 of their World Class Siberian Huskies that they breed for National & International shows !

They will explain rearing, judging, agility & competition required to produce success in dog judging for the World Show arena.

Questions are welcomed and this event should not be missed.

Roaring Rock ‘all natural’ Mushroom Soup

Roaring Rock ‘Steak & Barley’ Soup

Smoking Loon ‘Syrah’ – 2006  

Fourth Course :

Northern Italian, Boneless Pork Loin .. slow simmered w/ Fresh Tomato, Basil, Sweet Red Pepper, Onion & Garlic on Pasta

Smoking Loon ‘Pinot Noir’ – 2006 

Dessert Course :

Chocolate Spice Cake w/ Cream

Smoking Loon ‘Zinfandel’ – 2005 

* January is always National Soup Month and the first 3 courses feature some of our most popular !

* The fourth course is Carol’s interpretation of  a Pork dish from Northern Italy and has become so popular that is ‘destined’ to become part of our dinner menu !

* Zinfandel goes so very well with chocolate and what better way to complete this menu than Carol’ Chocolate Spice Cake !
