Featuring The High Point Brewing Co.
Brewers of Ramstein Beers

Founded in 1994, this is America’s premier brewer of German style Ales & Lagers. The founder and driving force of High Point is award winning home brewer, Greg Zaccardi. After working as a brewer in Southern Germany, Greg returned to the US to open his brewery !

His Ramstein beers are made with the same precision that he learned in Germany. In fact, the malt, hops and yeast are all imported directly from Bavaria. Greg found a special brewer’s yeast used only by a small brewery in Bavaria and was able to get this special yeast for use exclusively at Ramstein.

Featuring The High Point Brewing Co. Brewers of Ramstein Beers

It turns out that no less an authority than Michael Jackson, the British Beer Guru, actually paid a visit to the Ramstein Brewery !

Greg Ziccardi practically ‘fell over’ when Ale Street News editor Tony Forder called to say he was bringing the legendary “Beer Hunter” over for a tour. Jackson gave this micro-brewery 3 Stars in his latest pocket guide to the World’s Best Beers !

Incredibly, he also gave 3 Stars to the brewery’s dark weissbier, Ramstein Dark, the most stars awarded to any German-Style Dark Wheat Beer on the planet !!
