– “For
each vintage of Pepperwood Grove, we look for fruit that shows the true
character of a specific varietal. Most people will stop there and call it a
day .. and it would be a good day ! Each wine has to be more than a good
example of the varietal they have in order to demonstrate some other
character that gives the wine more interest. We look for differences not
“sameness” in each lot of wine we blend. It goes without saying that a wine
should be enjoyable .. but if it makes you pause, then we’ve succeeded in
our efforts.”
