This event will feature the wines of Alsace & Rhone Valleys. The two wineries will be Hugel & Jaboulet, under the Frederick Wildman wine group. The Hugel family

in Alsace can be traced back to the 15th century. In 1639, Hans Ulrich Hugel was mayor of

the city and soon took charge of the very powerful Corporation of Winegrowers. During the

18th & 19th centuries, the Hugel family gained an enviable reputation for winegrowing skill.

The Jaboulet family specializes exclusively in wines of the Rhone Valley – where the vine

was planted by the Romans, if not earlier by the Greeks.
